“Who Will Win Pakistan Election?” Ex India Cricket Star Asked. His Reply, “Too Easy…”With

In the Indian sub-continent, cricketers are widely followed. Their popularity goes beyond the field. It also sees them getting strange requests and questions.

That is the price of popularity that Indian cricketers and others from the sub-continent have to play. They are often showered with adulation too and it shows in their social media following and also the fanfare that they encounter. Some of the odd requests/questions that they get can sometimes have no relation to cricket as well.

One such question was thrown at former Indian cricket team opener Aakash Chopra. “Who will win election in Pakistan? Do #AakashVani. This is your real test,” a X user asked Aakash Chopra.

“That’s too easy. Nawaz Shariff,” replied the former Indian cricket team star.

Nearly 650,000 security personnel have been deployed across poll-bound Pakistan as authorities were busy setting up polling stations to enable more than 12.85 crore registered voters to cast their ballot in the Pakistan general election on Thursday.

Indian cricketer-turned-commentator Aakash Chopra recently opined that India can pick both all-rounders Shivam Dube and Hardik Pandya in the squad for the much-awaited T20 World Cup, starting from June in the West Indies and in the United States of America. The 46-year-old asserted that the Dube reminds him of former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh as he attacks the bowler in the same way. He said that the 30-year-old should bat a little down the order for India.

“Shivam Ati Sundaram – his power is talking loudly. I felt he was sent slightly early in the third match. You could have sent either Sanju Samson or Rinku Singh ahead of him because he is not a grafter, he is an attacker. He reminds me of Yuvi (Yuvraj Singh)
