Virat Kohli was on fire on Monday night at the M. Chinnaswamy stadium in RCB’s first home game of the season versus PBKS. Not only did Kohli, who scored 77 off 49 balls, fire with the bat, but he also entertained the fans after his magic with the bat.
Kohli flaunted his dance moves after RCB won the game by four wickets. Kohli was upbeat after the win where he celebrated the win with his family over a video call and a dance move that is now being loved by fans. Here is the video that is now going viral on social space.
“It’s been going on for years (love story with fans at Chinnaswamy). People talk about a lot of other things when you play sport – achievement, stats, numbers. But when you look back it’s the memories you create. Rahul bhai in the change room says the same nowadays. When you play, play your heart out because you’re going to miss these times.
The love, appreciation and backing I’ve received has been amazing. I try to give the team a blazing start, but if wickets fall, you have to understand the conditions as well. Wasn’t the usual placid pitch. It was a bit two-paced. And I thought I need to play correct cricketing shots. Playing across the line wasn’t working,” Kohli said at the post-match presentation.
