IPL 2024, SRH vs MI: Who will be the highest wicket-takers?

Bhuvneshwar Kumar: The Indian pacer, was the highest wicket-taker for SRH in the last season of the IPL. He took 16 wickets in 14 matches. SRH depends on him to pick up early wickets to choke their opponents in the death overs. This two-time purple cap winner, along with captain Pat Cummins, leads the SRH pace battery.

Thangarasu Natarajan: The 32-year-old Indian medium-fast bowler got 10 wickets in the last IPL. This season, he bagged three wickets in the first match against KKR. The Tamil Nadu-born bowler also has 51 wickets in 48 matches with a decent economy rate. He will add some extra prowess to the already star-studded SRH-pace battery against MI.

Jasprit Bumrah: After missing the last season of IPL, he is back in IPL 2024 with a bang. In the first match against GT, he took three wickets with an economy rate of just 3.5. With 145 wickets in his IPL career and an excellent accuracy rate, Bumrah is expected to do something similar to the last match against SRH.

Piyush Chawla: The 35-year-old veteran leg-spinner was the fourth highest wicket taker in the last IPL. He bagged 22 wickets in 16 matches. He also has 179 wickets in the IPL across the franchises. He almost remains consistent in his performances and is expected to continue it in this match as well.

Last season, SRH ended up at the bottom of the points table, and this season they started with a loss against KKR. MI also lost their first match against GT. In this match, they both will try to amend their mistakes from the first match, and we can expect to see some stormy displays of skill and power from both sides.
