The battle lines have been clearly drawn before the IPL 2024 as Rohit Sharma and Rishabh Pant engaged in some banter as the new advertisement for the league dropped on March 15.
The ad by Dream 11, one of the IPL’s main sponsors, would feature some of the big names from all of the 10 franchises and also have celebrities like Daler Mehndi, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Punjab Kings owner Preity Zinta engage in some fan banter.
Rohit would tell Pant that he would see him on the ground during the tournament.
“Yeh Indian T20 league hai boss, yahan hawa badal jati hai! Ground pe milte hain @RishabhPant17 (This is the Indian T20 league boss. Here the mood changes. See you on the ground Rishabh Pant.),” Rohit tweeted.
In response, Pant told Rohit that team and friendship is different in the IPL.

Pant will be making a much-awaited return to the cricketing field during the IPL 2024. After being cleared by the BCCI, the excited Indian wicketkeeper will be in action on March 23 during the first double-header of the season.
Pant will be in action for the Delhi Capitals as they face Punjab Kings in Mohali.
Rohit will be in action for Mumbai Indians as they take on Gujarat Titans on March 24 in Ahmedabad. This will be the first time the Indian opener will be in action in the IPL after relinquishing his captaincy at MI and handing it over to Hardik Pandya.
