Lahore Qalandars vs Multan Sultans Preview

Last year’s finalists, Lahore and Multan will go head-to-head on Tuesday evening. Afridi and the company lost their fifth game by eight runs in a hard-fought battle against Peshawar. Conversely, Multan, led by Rizwan won their last match against another table topper Quetta Gladiators by 13 runs. Both teams have their objectives to win this match.

Rassie van der Dussen’s highest score (104 runs off 52 balls) and Sahibzada Farhan (72 runs off 45 balls) are the highest run-scorers and most consistent performers for the Qalandars. Shaheen Afridi looked good, taking 3/33 against Peshawar Zalmi. These players could play a vital role for the Lahore team in the next game.

The skipper, Mohammad Rizwan scored 51 runs off 42 balls and Reeza Hendricks scored 72 runs off 47 balls in their last game, have been the backbone of the batting lineup for the Sultans. The right-arm-medium-pacer Mohammad Ali (13 wickets in 5 matches) is the highest wicket-taker among the bowlers. Hence, these are the players to watch out for from Multan Sultan’s side.
