Karnataka Bulldozers will lock horns with Bengal Tigers in the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) 2024 final at the Greenfield International Cricket Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday (March 17).
Karnataka Bulldozers featuring the stars and behind scenes crew from the Sandalwood industry booked their final berth by beating Bengal Tigers in the qualifier 1 on Friday (March 15). Kiccha Sudeep-led Bulldozers saw off Jisshu Sengupta’s Tigers by 8 wickets.
However, the Bengal Tigers, featuring the stars of the Bangla industry, Tollywood, used their second chance at reaching the final by beating Mumbai Heroes in the second qualifier on Saturday (March 16). The Tigers beat Heroes by 10 runs. Both those matches took place at the same venue in Trivandrum.

How many times has Karnataka Bulldozers won the CCL title?
The Karnataka Bulldozers, who have been part of the CCL since it’s launch in 2011, have won the Celebrity Cricket League title two times in the past nine seasons of the league, which was first held in traditional T20 format and later switched to 10 overs 2 innings format in 2023.
The Bulldozers inspired by their skipper Sudeep have also finished runners up most, having lost the final four times so far. Their last final win came a decade ago in 2014, while they lost the summit clash in 2016 and 2019.
