She first removed Annabel Sutherland on the first ball for 6 before dismissing Arundhati Reddy for 0 on the very next ball to complete her hat-trick.

Deepti was then smashed for a boundary on the third delivery but picked up another wicket on the very next ball, dismissing Shikha Pandey for 4.

She completely changed the game with her 19th over which saw the fall of three wickets and gave away just five runs.

Delhi, then needed 10 runs off the last over bowled by Grace Harris which they failed to score and were bowled out for 137 in 19.5 overs, losing three wickets before falling a run short.

Notably, Deepti is now only the second player in the WPL history to take a hat-trick after Mumbai Indians’ Issy Wong who achieved the feat in the inaugural season last year.
