DY Patil T20 Cup 2024 semi-final line up was finalized after the quarter-final matches on Thursday (March 7) as Tata SC, CAG, DY Patil Red and Income Tax teams progressed to the next stage of the tournament.
Several Indian capped and uncapped players, who will be representing various teams in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 like Abdul Samad, Krunal Pandya, Yuzvendra Chahal, Mahipal Lomror among many others have been involved in this tournament.
DY Patil Red, featuring Krunal and Samad, reached the semifinal after knocking out defending champion Reliance 1, featuring Hardik Pandya, Tilak Varma, Piyush Chawla, Akash Madhwal and Nehal Wadhera.
Income Tax, featuring Chahal and Lomror, thrashed Jain Irrigation by a massive 122 runs to seal their last four spot, while CAG beat DY Patil Blue, featuring Shikhar Dhawan, and Tata Sports Club thrashed Indian Oil by a whopping 60 runs to make it to the semi-final.
Now, CAG will take on DY Patil Red in the first semi-final at the DY Patil Stadium, whereas at the nearby University Ground Tata Sports Club will play Income Tax in the second semi-final.
