RCB’s star all-rounder Ellyse Perry showed her brute strength in the WPL match against UP Warriorz on Monday.
While the Smriti Mandhana-led side played their last match at their home ground in Bengaluru Perry ensured the fans some entertainment as she smashed a huge six which broke a car’s window.
It was during the 19th over when Perry smashed Deepti Sharma for a huge six as the ball went towards the long-on. The ball went past the ropes and broke the car window.
Perry herself was surprised and was seen putting her hands on her head after watching the glass window being broken.

Perry was at her absolute best against the Alyssa Healy-led side. She scored a match-winning knock of 58 runs off 37 balls, which included four fours and as many sixes. It was Sophie Ecclestone who had taken her wicket in the last over but by then Perry had already helped her post a mammoth target.
She came into bat after Anjali Sarvani dismissed Sabbhineni Meghana. Smriti Mandhana had stitched a partnership of 51 runs for the first wicket in 5.3 overs.
Perry began her innings slowly as she needed some time to understand the UP Warriorz bowlers. After Meghana’s dismissal, Perry along with Mandhana helped the team post a mammoth target of 198/3. They built a partnership of 95 tuns off 64 balls for the second wicket.
In the match against the Harmanpreet Kaur-led side, Mandhana heaped praises on Perry for giving her all despite not being 100% fit. She scored the gritty knock of 44 runs but her efforts went in vain as they lost the match.
