Did Virat Kohli inform BCCI about his unavailability for England Tests? Report reveals startling details

New Delhi: An element of suspense over the availability of star India batter Virat Kohli for the third and fourth Test matches against England isn’t over yet.

As the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is closing in on announcing the squad for remaining Test matches of the series, availability of the run machine remains a burning issue, with the entire spotlight on the star batter’s participation in the Test series.

As per a report published in Indian Express, Kohli is yet to communicate anything about his availability to the board or the team management. A BCCI official has confirmed that the star batter has not informed anyone about his plan to return so he would be included into the squad as soon as he makes himself available. Although, Kohli opted out of the opening two Test matches of the series after proper communication to the officials, he did not divulge his further plans with the board.
