Ravindra Jadeja is enjoying his time on the field and off it. The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) star came up with an extremely goofy comment on his wife Rivaba Jadeja’s Instagram post in which she was seen wearing a white t-shirt with ‘Hukum’ written on it.
Ahead of CSK’s second match of the IPL 2024 against Gujarat Titans (GT) at the MA Chidambaram Stadium (Chepauk) on Tuesday, March 26, Rivaba, who is also a BJP MLA from Jamnagar in Gujarat, took time out to pose in two portraits of his husband. She posted a yellow and red heart emojis alongside the two pictures.
“Mera hukum hai room aao jaldi,” Ravindra Jadeja commented on the picture. Here’s the post from Rivaba Jadeja which has got almost three lakh likes.
Ravindra Jadeja and Rivaba were subject to negative publicity recently after the sensational allegations from star all-rounder’s father Anirudhsinh Jadeja. He said that he was not in touch with the CSK star for years now. He called Jadeja’s wife for bringing a rift in the family.
The 35-year-old quickly came to the rescue of his wife. “The things mentioned in the dubious interview with Divya Bhaskar are meaningless and false. Those are one-sided comments that I deny them. The attempt to tarnish the image of my wife is improper and condemnable. I too have a lot to say but it is better that I don’t reveal those things in public,” Jadeja had said on X (formerly Twitter).
Jadeja also dedicated his Man of the Match award to Rivaba after he starred in India’s win in the third Test against England in Rajkot. He scored a hundred in the first innings and also picked a five-wicket haul in the second innings.
“This is a special Man of the Match at my home ground. I would like to dedicate this award to my wife. She has been working hard behind the scenes, mentally. She always gives me confidence,” Jadeja had said in a video posted by BCCI.
