In the viral post, Kohli was seen sporting a new hairstyle, continuing the tradition of his makeovers ahead of new series and tournaments.
The upcoming season will mark the return of the iconic India batter to competitive action for the first time since January. Kohli withdrew from India’s Test series against England earlier this year due to the birth of his second child, Akaay in February.
Kohli is seen sporting a faded mohawk with a stylish slit on his eyebrows. It’s certain that quite a few of his fans will be replicating the look during the upcoming IPL season.

The iconic right-handed batter has already joined his side’s camp in Bengaluru, and is already part of the preparation for their season opener against Chennai Super Kings on March 22.
With RCB’s women’s team clinching the franchise’s maiden trophy with their WPL 2024 title win on Sunday, March 17, expectations have only increased amongst the side’s fanbase for the men’s team to replicate the success. As is customary, the majority of fans’ faith will be in the side’s top three iconic batters: Kohli, Faf du Plessis, and Glenn Maxwell.
The IPL 2024 season will also mark the full-fledged return of Kohli to the T20 format of the game. This comes after he made only two appearances for India in their series against Afghanistan in January, which followed a two-year hiatus after the T20 World Cup in 2022. This season will be of significant importance specifically for Kohli, with high speculation regarding his chances of appearing in the Indian squad for the upcoming 2024 T20 World Cup, starting in June.
Kohli will be looking to replicate his formidable form from the 2023 IPL, where he scored a total of 639 runs in his 14 appearances for RCB. Being out of cricketing action, Kohli will be hoping to have a positive start to his IPL 2024 campaign and help his side end their 17-year-long trophy drought.
