Ageless Imran Tahir displayed brilliant skills of athleticism to stun the fans during the SA20 Eliminator between Paarl Royals and Joburg Super Kings.
The 44-year-old of Joburg Super Kings Tahir made a jaw-dropping effort on the field during the game.
Paarl Royals faced Joburg Super Kings in the Eliminator of the SA20 with the spot for Qualifier 2 up for grabs. The JSK side bowled first after winning the toss and quickly made an impact. Jason Roy looking to go big early in the innings, and Sam Cook got two quick wickets. He first removed Buttler in the third over when the England limited-overs captain looking to scoop a wobbled seam delivery. Cook got another wicket on the back of a sensational effort from the 44-year Proteas star Imran Tahir.
On the fifth delivery of the over, Cook bowled a back-of-a-length delivery with Mitchell Van Buuren getting completely undone by it. He played a half-hearted pull towards fine leg. Tahir, stationed at short fine-leg sprinted back and then made a dive to take a sensational catch. Tahir was pumped after the wicket and did a Cristiano Ronaldo’s Siuu celebration.
